This colorful painting is a collectors' piece, since we lost Glenda Johanneson few years ago. It is donated as a special & separate raffle item.
Glenda and her husband, Jim, were instrumental, driving forces in the Guild & helped make it what it is today. Her talent ranged through almost every spectrum of art. She and Jim we active in every phase of the Guild. The Christmas ornaments she made are legendary & her "Angel" is the one used in all advertising for Christmas shows. It is the dedicated hallmark for LPAG designs and awakens the Christmas Spirit in all of us. Jim has since moved to Washington, but we fondly remember both of them. This talented, generous couple funded special programs for LPAG and upon Glenda passing, a scholarship was established in her name by her husband, Jim & many LPAG members contributed to be certain that students of art could learn and carry on her traditions. We thank Stephanie Polomarez for her donation of the painting to the Guild. The proceeds from the raffle will go directly to Glenda's Scholarship fund.
