New Tips for and from Artists

The idea of a "Tips" page comes from Rita Shaw of Shaw Pottery. As Rita suggests:

"Perhaps others have good ideas that could contribute to a "tip page" on the LPAG website."

1. Join us in the Los Padres Artist Guild and participate in as many events as possible - a great way to make contacts.

2. We used to have our website on Verizon. But when we switched, we lost that website and all our e-mail, of course. One of the best tips we got was to switch to a generic type of service such as Gmail (through Google) which isn't going anywhere regardless of who is your phone or internet service provider. A good tip for anyone planning to advertise their business or start a website. (Rita Shaw)

3. We should share good places to find "free stuff" for artists, for instance, or upcoming shows others might not know about. Also, perhaps someone is going on a trip and could take along some art for a gallery near their destination, I know we could use that personally if anyone was to head up to the Sonoma area.
